Celebrating Creativity: FRDC Shines at In-Store Asia & VM&RD Retail Design Awards 2024

Our recent journey to Mumbai for the In-Store Asia 2024 event, held at the Bombay Exhibition Center from June 13-15, was an engaging and inspirational experience for the FRDC team. This visit marked a significant milestone, as we not only participated in one of the most prestigious retail design events but also celebrated our success at the VM&RD Retail Design Awards 2024, where FRDC proudly clinched four awards.


In-Store Asia is an annual event we eagerly anticipate. It's a hub where industry professionals, retailers, and vendors come together to share insights, explore innovations, and network. This year’s event was no exception. The Bombay Exhibition Center buzzed with creative energy and forward-thinking concepts, providing our team with a wealth of inspiration and new connections.

 

Our time in Mumbai was more than just attending an event; it was a comprehensive journey that combined learning, networking, and real-world application of our design philosophies. Winning four awards at the VM&RD Retail Design Awards was a testament to our team's hard work and dedication. It was a proud moment that celebrated our achievements and motivated us to continue pushing the boundaries of retail design. The time spent in expo by our team was resourceful, and those new to the retail design tribe, who enjoyed discovering new concepts in retail design services and establishing new connects.

A highlight of our trip was visiting the recently completed Samsonite project. This visit allowed us to see our work in action, providing valuable insights into how our design concepts translate into real-world retail environments. The project exemplifies our commitment to creating functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces that enhance the customer experience. Seeing the finished product reaffirmed our belief in the power of thoughtful design and its impact on retail success.


We also visited the ongoing site of Swadesh, a project that’s particularly close to our hearts. Observing the progress and engaging with the on-ground team provided us with a deeper understanding of the challenges and triumphs of bringing a retail vision to life. These site visits are crucial as they offer us a chance to refine our designs and ensure that every detail aligns with our client’s vision and brand identity.

As we return from this enriching trip, we carry with us new ideas, inspirations, and a renewed commitment to excellence. The experiences and learnings from In-Store Asia 2024, coupled with the insights gained from our site visits, will undoubtedly fuel our future projects and initiatives.
