FRDC partnered with South India’s leading optical retail brand, Specsmakers, to create a new retail identity that reflects comfort, trust, and care—the foundation of the brand’s relationship with its customers. With over 200 stores and a rapidly expanding franchise-led network, the need was to evolve beyond a typical optical store format into a scalable, customer-first experience.
The new identity brings together aspiration and accessibility, creating spaces that are professional yet warm and inclusive. A standout feature—the Lens Studio Wall—translates technical lens details into simple, interactive storytelling, helping customers make informed decisions with ease. Every design element, from glare-free lighting and modular displays to inviting consultation zones, is crafted to enhance clarity, comfort, and confidence.
The result is a contemporary, people-centric retail format that captures the essence of empathy and expertise. Scalable and adaptable across locations, this design language redefines the eyewear retail experience, positioning Specsmakers as a trusted and approachable brand that truly puts its customers first.
