We are delighted to share that Swadesh, designed by FRDC in collaboration with FutureBrand Detroit, has been awarded First Place in the Conversion: Specialty Store, Sales Area Under 10,000 Square Feet category at the VMSD Retail Renovation Competition 2026.
The project has also been featured in the September/October 2026 issue of VMSD, highlighting the transformation of the store and its thoughtful balance of India’s rich craft traditions with a contemporary retail experience.
