The past 48 hours at In-store Asia 2026 were a celebration of everything that makes the retail industry dynamic—ideas, innovation, collaboration and meaningful connections. From insightful conferences and panel discussions to client meetings, networking sessions, award ceremonies and conversations with industry peers, the event brought together the entire retail ecosystem under one roof.

A key highlight was the Retail Design Institute (RDI) India panel discussion on "Phenomena Shaping Global Retail Design," where industry leaders shared perspectives on emerging trends, evolving consumer expectations and the future of experience-led retail. The discussion reinforced the importance of designing spaces that are not only commercially relevant but also culturally meaningful, sustainable and human-centred.

For FRDC, In-store Asia 2026 was especially memorable as it brought opportunities to reconnect with clients, partners, consultants, suppliers, colleagues and friends while also engaging with the next generation of retail professionals. The exchange of ideas, diverse viewpoints and shared experiences made the event an invaluable platform for learning and collaboration.

Adding to the excitement, the event also marked a proud milestone for FRDC, with our projects receiving multiple recognitions at the VM&RD Retail Design Awards 2026—a testament to the collective efforts of our teams and collaborators.
As the conversations continue beyond the event, we return inspired by new perspectives, stronger relationships and renewed energy to keep designing meaningful retail experiences that shape the future of the industry.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the In-store Asia organizers, RDI India, our clients, partners, collaborators and the entire FRDC team for making this experience truly memorable. Here's to many more conversations, collaborations and retail stories ahead.
